UV lamps

UV germicidal lamps are intended to remove microorganisms from water such as bacteria, viruses, fungi. The offer of Klarwod includes:

• Puricom lamps for kitchen reverse osmosis systems
• Puricom lamps of KUVLCSL series, flow-through type of the capacity ranging from 2 to 12 gallons/min
• KUVTMAL series lamps, flow-through type of the capacity ranging from 1 to 510 m3/h.

When installing a UV lamp also a protective 5 micron pre-filter must be installed.
UV tube life is approx. 8,000 hours (~1 year), after that time the lamp tube must be replaced with a new one.
