Container water treatment stations for STRABAG

The Klarwod company has built two containerized water treatment stations for the STRABAG group as part of the project for the construction of the A2 motorway on the section of the Siedlce bypass.
Thanks to this, the MOP Choja and UOD Borki have gained access to clean, safe water that meets the quality requirements for human consumption. Water treatment stations provide multi-stage purification and disinfection of water as well as constant monitoring of technological parameters.
The devices have been placed in 20’ High Cube shipping containers, appropriately adapted for technical functions. In the compact space, technological devices, installations, fittings, measuring and control equipment, and a control cabinet with an operator panel have been arranged. This solution allowed for the creation of a complete, organized, and easy-to-operate station, occupying a small area on the facility's premises.
The purification process begins with aerating the raw water in an air-water mixer, working together with an oil-free compressor. Then, the water is directed to pressure tank systems, and further to pressure filtration systems.
MOP Choja – Travel Service Point.
In the container located at MOP Choja, a hydrophore tank with a capacity of 495 liters was used along with two filtration stages using four iron and manganese removers of type FO KTNP.
OUD Borki - Road Maintenance Department.
In the container on the grounds of UOD Borki, there are two hydrophore tanks with a capacity of 300 liters each and three parallel operating filters of type FO KTNP, responsible for removing iron and manganese from water.

In both cases, mechanical filtration was also applied based on filters Citropur. The final stage of water preparation is disinfection with UV lamps from TMA, which limits the presence of microorganisms without the need for dosing chemical agents.
The stations are also equipped with air vents, shut-off valves, a rinse water discharge system, and control and measurement apparatus. Manometers, pressure transducers, rotameters, and electromagnetic flowmeters enable ongoing supervision of the process and ensure stable and safe operation of the installation.
The containerized construction of the technology creates a ready-to-use, functional water treatment module, protecting the equipment from weather conditions and providing convenient access during operation and service work.
