FU GAC

Filtration filters FU GAC are used for water purification in single-family homes, multi-family homes, as well as throughout entire neighborhoods and in industry. 


The filter medium is filled with carbon material with a high adsorption capacity, which effectively removes chlorine, its derivatives, organic substances, suspensions, oxidized iron, and improves the taste and smell of water.

 

Carbon filters FU GAC are most commonly used as the final stage of filtration in water treatment plants, but they can also serve for preliminary water purification, e.g. before industrial RO systems or before water demineralization stations. FU GAC can also serve as a standalone filtration unit.

Every carbon filter FU GAC is equipped with a control head, which makes the operation of the filter and its regeneration fully automatic. Control heads, depending on the customer's needs, can come in a time-based or volume-based version (time-based involves flushing on specified days, volume-based after the flow of a specified amount of water).

Depending on the results of the water analysis and the type of water installation, the Klarwod company selects the appropriate size of the carbon column FU GAC as well as the type of control head.
